Soft water for strong hair !

today I would like to talk to you about my new haircare favorite:

My new haircare favorite is not a haircare product 🙂
It’s a filter for hard water!

I live in a big city called Cologne in Germany. And the water here is very hard and calcified.

I tried expensive hair care products and cheap ones, but to be honest with you, most of them worked the same on me, and that got me thinking.

Why is my hair still feeling dry after all the good hair care I use on it?! It turns out the secret is not in the shampoo bottle but in the water!


Hard water has a lot of calcium and metals in it, that dry out your hair. In my experience the water is harder, the bigger the city is.

As I’m growing out my hair at the moment I was thinking how I could help it be less dry.
So I went online and on @amazon, and I found this affordable filter for my shower.

I have to say, I am very impressed.

It really works!
My hair and my skin have been feeling softer and not as dry. 

I realized I’d rather invest in a new set of filter cartridges every 3 months than in a super expensive hair mask. 
(thou I highly do recommend using Olaplex Nr. 3 weekly if your hair is damaged, no matter what water you have)
