post-holiday cravings and my bath routine

hello dear luckystar🥰🤗

today I'm sharing my bath supplements with you:

I recently came home from a stressful journey where I traveled to Ukraine.

When I travel I allow myself to indulge, and for me, that's eating cake and smoking cigarettes. I know I know, Nicotine is very bad for you, and sugar as well, but sometimes it's just a part of life :)

When I came home, I needed some de-stressing actions and some detoxing!

Oh yes, for a few days of smoking and cake, I pay with a week of cravings, but C'est la vie and at the moment I'm willing/able to pay that price.

It is harder for me if I tell myself   "Never again".

If I allow myself everything (besides drugs and alcohol since I have been sober for 6+ years), then it is easier for me to also say no to sugar and nicotine most of the time.

In the Russian language there is a saying about quitting smoking that goes like this:

"smoking cigarettes is easy to drop, but it is hard to stop loving it"

Baths always help me to recenter, especially since I am a Vata Type and always freezing and in need of warmth.

Are there nice men out there who are always warm and want to cuddle?

My bath-supplements:

I like to use dead a mixture of sea salt and alkaline bath salt, since salt helps to clear out negative energies from the body. I also added a little bit of bubble bath gel for some foam and scent.

It has amazing benefits for you:

- detoxify

- restores,supports and moisturizes skin

- neutralize unhealthy acids on the skin

- removes dead skin cells and helps with ingrown hair!

- relieving muscle tension

- easing aches and pains

- reducing stress and anxiety

I then lay in the bath for about 30 minutes and let all of the nasty leave my body through the skin. I often make the water too hot, so now I like to add some cold water right in the beginning to not cook myself too much.

If you don't have a bathtub, that is not a problem, I recommend getting a little foot bathtub. At the end of the day fill it up with hot water, add some dead sea salt and some alkaline bath salt, and let the stress of the day get sucked out trough your foot soles. (minimum 15 minutes)

I'd love to know what you like to indulge in when you are on vacation/travelling, please share in the comments!

I love you❤️
